Mai, an international student from Brazil, and Michael, a Jewish student who had accepted Christ just six months prior. Parsons is an elite private art and fashion school that churns out the world's most influential fashion and graphic designers.

Wealthy parents send their kids to Parsons with the sole expectation of success. That pressure manifests into ambitiously walking over other students, regarding relationships as expendable, and the willingness to cut throats to gain advantage over peers. This in turn isolates students, and ultimately creates a cold and careless environment. The icing on the cake are the multitude of sexual pressures of the City, and even their own professors, encouraging them to explore sexuality and gender fluidity; leaving them spiritually exhausted, wounded, and lost.

Mai and Michael have been dismayed and pressed on all sides by the culture at their school but desperately want to see God move in the lives of their classmates.

Parsons is just one New York City university within Cru’s largest scope of students in the country, and Kelsey is one person responsible for reaching 50,000 students. Mai and Michael have Jesus who unites them, shepherds them, and gives them rest from the pressures of school and city.
