Max and I both grew up in rural Montana, and attended Montana State University.  While Max majored in exercise science (pre-physical therapy), I was working with children in the Elementary Education department.  We both moved in the dorms for ministry as upperclassmen, became friends, started dating, and were married in December of 2011. We now have two children, Braxton (Dec '15) and Maizie (Nov '17).

We felt that the Lord was calling us to college ministry, especially when we looked at how God had used Cru in both of our lives. Max was first told about Christ his freshmen year by two senior students involved with Cru, and I found the community that I desperately needed to continue walking with God during college.  

Because of how we've seen God work in our own hearts and those of others, we feel very passionate and confident in what God has called us to do.  We are currently serving in Portland, OR with Athletes in Action (AIA) on several different campuses.  God is moving in amazing ways, and we are blessed to be a part of it.  Would you partner with us to reach the 100,000+ students in Portland?
