Kevin (KP) and Courtney Patao are on staff with Cru City - Neighbors in San Jose, CA - the heart of the Silicon Valley. Courtney serves internationals, immigrants, and refugees while KP serves on the National Leadership Team developing theology and shepherding other missionaries on staff with Cru. They previously served internationals in Campus ministry through Bridges at San Jose State University and Stanford University.

Courtney, who is originally from Minnesota, started with Cru in 2010 working in the Middle East before moving to San Jose in 2013.  KP, who is from San Jose, grew up in a trans-cultural Filipino and Azorean immigrant family. He worked in the legal field prior to meeting Courtney that same year she moved. The two of them found a common passion to work in cross-cultural ministry in January of 2014, and decided to join staff as a married couple in 2017.

KP and Courtney share a passion for languages, church and community partnerships, holistic theology, and music. They also stay busy raising their three young children who sometimes participate in ministry with them!
