I was in a state of forsaken by the scholars of medicine who did not know the medicine to cure my ailment.
My name is Gunasekaran. I was born in a traditional Hindu family. I did not know about Christ. I was involving in lots of unnecessary things because of bad influences which I had from my childhood. As a result soon after my S.S.L.C (10th Class) exams in 2004, I got a pain in my abdomen. Slowly that increased. I could not bear it. Finally we went to meet a doctor. Unfortunately, the doctor forsook me. The medical science failed to find out the source of my pain.
In Such a situation I was invited by neighbor to attend a prayer group which was functioning near by my house. The Lord heard my cries and healed me there. As I started to go regularly, God spoke to me through, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Mark 8:34). But I could not know the meaning of that verse. After some months, the prayer group leader expired. So that group stopped to function. I went back again. During my 1st year of Under Graduation, I met one of the staff worker of CCC through one of my friend. He shared the love and forgiveness of Christ. I understood and convinced about the death of Christ on a rugged cross on behalf of me before 2000 years. I accepted him as my Saviour then and there. That was in August 2004.
After the transfer of CCC Staff, I was led by antoher CCC staff who was my senior student. Soon he also went for full time ministry. Again I was bewitched by the sinful activities by accompanied with bad friends. In the midst of all those, there was no happiness in my inner man. I felt lonely and an emptiness. Though I earned much, everything seemed to me as vanity. In such a desperate condition God brought me again to the soil where I could grow spiritually by giving me a chance to work as an accountant in Chennai CCC office through Mr. Charles by His predestined plan.
In February 2010, during my personal quiet time, I received the calling to serve Him as a field worker through, “And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking but the Holy Sprit.” (Mark 13:10, 11). Immediately I obeyed the Lord by dedicating myself to serve Him. I value your prayers so that I could give much fruits for my Saviour Jesus Christ who rescued me from the eternal punishment.
