Ahoj, I'm Karly Petrella and I'm on staff with Cru in Prague, Czech Republic!
I'm working with high school students in Prague, engaging in friendship and seeking to see the Gospel transform hearts in one of the most spiritually dark places in the world. The Czech Republic is one of the most atheistic countries in the world but God is at work and I'm confident He has sent me to be part of His redemption story in this country. I'm eager to continue diving into conversation with students who are searching for meaning and purpose in life but have never heard of the grace offered to them through Jesus Christ. I'm passionate about reaching these students and know that God can change their hearts and call them into relationship with Himself and then even use them to impact their schools, their country and even the world for His glory! God has given me immense hope and vision for the people of the Czech Republic and I'm excited to see how His light penetrates this spiritually dark country; I'd love to have you partner with me towards this vision.
If you don't know me; I grew up in Northern Virginia and went to school at Christopher Newport University where I graduated in Communication Studies with a Religious Studies minor. After school I followed God's leading into full time ministry by joining staff with Cru where I served at Clemson University for four years before heading overseas. I love being part of Cru's caring community that's passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ; we strive to follow Christ, and make disciples to impact the world.
I work directly with believing and non-believing students on campus in Prague through the power of the Holy Spirit to introduce people to Christ, help build them in their relationship with Christ, and send them out in the name of Christ to be a light to the world wherever the Lord calls them for His glory!
I absolutely love working with high school students and getting to be part of such a vital time in their life, seeing lives transformed by the Gospel and the Lord use broken vessels to proclaim His glory!!
