Imagine God called your family to pick up and move halfway across the world. What would be some of your biggest concerns?
For many, the concerns center on their family, and more specifically, their kids. Missionary families experience not only the hard things every family does, but they also encounter challenges unique to living cross-cultural in a mission lifestyle.
Who am I? I spent 16 years as a missionary kid in Romania and Hungary before returning to the U.S. to attend Covenant College and study Bible and Teaching. I then interned with MK2MK and am now joining Staff.
Who are We? MK2MK is part of Cru which sends missionaries all over the world. Some of these missionaries have children – Missionary Kids (MKs). MK2MK is all about capitalizing on a shared experience to build a global spiritual community of MKs who impact their world for Christ. We seek to minister to the whole family by helping the kids take ownership of their own faith and understand they are called as missionaries just as much as their parents.
How do we do it? We equip older MKs (like myself) to minister to younger MKs through conferences, field visits, summer mission trips, and our college internship. Each of these come with unique opportunities to come alongside and support missionary families where they live.
Why? All of this so that families and future generations can continue to be involved in the Great Commission.

You can make a difference in reaching the world for Christ by caring for missionary families. Cru has no central funds for paying salaries and ministry expenses of its missionaries. So we depend on the consistent financial support of concerned individuals like you.

My Calling:
God has gently been calling me and equipping me for this ministry my whole life by giving me experience. Because of my life as an MK I am uniquely equipped to come alongside MKs who feel like no one can know them or understand them and say “me too, I get it, you’re not alone.”
In 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 Paul says that God is the God of all comfort. He comforts us in our afflictions so that we can comfort others in theirs with the same comfort we received from God. MK2MK gives me the opportunity to use what God has taught me and given me to bless, comfort, equip and advocate for missionary families.
