Hello! Thank you for visiting our page.

On July 1st, 2023, we- Mike and Rose, along with our three slumbering children, Selah, Ethan, and David, wearily, yet bright-eyed as the morning sun dawning upon our fully packed minivan, arrived in metro Washington, D.C. to begin serving with Cru's City ministry of IIR (Immigrants, Internationals, and Refugees).

We are compelled to draw near to our new neighbors, whose lives and journeys are often fraught with loss and trauma and yet exude great beauty, resiliency, and hope as they search for home again.

We are privileged as Cru staff to intentionally come alongside our neighbors in their transitions to life in a new country and local community. What difference might it make to have a friend and advocate who cares about who they are and their journey (past, present, and future) through tangible support and God's word?

We wish to honor Jesus who has gone ahead of us to prepare a home for us, to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, and to show the power and hope of the gospel.

We consider it a great privilege to partner with our friends in the Lord's work in which the gospel captivates hearts and transforms lives and communities to proclaim and demonstrate the story of Jesus to a waiting world.
