They were spoken by a Christian refugee who had fled extremism in the Middle East. He had been beaten for his faith in his home country. Along with his family, he escaped . . . only to find himself in desperate circumstances again.

In their new nation, neither he nor his wife could get a job because of their faith. He could not afford rent or food. His son was hungry. And his story is just one of many like it.

As you know, the refugee situation is overwhelming. Literally millions are homeless and hungry. We cannot help every single person today, but Cru staff are in place to aid Christian refugees they have already identified. This man and his family are among them!

However, because of the tremendous volume of Christians needing help, more funds are urgently needed to help offer food, blankets, and other essentials to believers caught in very dark circumstances.
