The refugee situation in the Middle Eastern region is desperate. Entire cities have been devastated by shelling and gunfire. Not long ago, people could walk the streets as you and I do in our hometowns. Now, streets are filled with rubble from the buildings where they once lived.

People are frantic to leave the area and find safety. Evacuation is underway, but the progress is slow, and has had to be halted because of more fighting.

Some of those leaving are children who are traveling alone. Their parents were killed in the fighting, or they have been separated from their families. When they arrive at a refugee camp, they may have only the few belongings they were able to scrape together as they fled. Some left with nothing.

You can help provide Refugee Hope Kits to those affected by this trauma. Each $40 you give will provide things like blankets, food, clothing and medical supplies. Cru®, working with Global Aid Network® (GAiN®), the humanitarian ministry of Cru, is partnering with Christian churches and volunteers in the area to bring hope into the lives of those forced to leave their homes.

Each Refugee Hope Kit not only helps meet immediate physical needs, but is shared with the love of Christ. Many have come to know and accept Jesus when they received a Hope Kit and heard of Christ’s love for them.
