THE MISSION FIELD COMES TO US: The Florida Panhandle

We have a huge responsibility, privilege, and honor to share Jesus Christ with over 80,000 service members at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, (Including Corry Station), and Eglin Air Force Base. We pray to reach as many as possible by working with Chaplains, holding bible studies on and off base, being their "home away from home", and ministering to military marriages. Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by "winning" people to faith in Jesus Christ, "building" them in their faith, and "sending" Christ-centered multiplying disciples into the global military community.

THE PRIORITY
"A man or woman in uniform, bearing arms and subject to enemy action, deserve first priority to hear the Gospel of Christ at this time." Colonel Jack Fain made this statement in 1965, and nearly sixty years later, this remains the heartbeat of Cru Military.

THE PLAN
We seek to meet men and women in uniform and address their points of need through bible studies, discipleship classes, mission projects, fellowship events, marriage seminars, REBOOT groups for PTSD, and even community church services. As we win them to Christ and build them up in their faith, they are ready to be sent worldwide, fully equipped to live out their faith and multiply Christ-centered disciples.

THE POWER
We see just how powerful true faith in Jesus Christ is on the field. Capt. P., USMC, told us, "I have an enduring relationship with Christ, not just in crisis or only on Sunday, but in the dust and heat of every day: through frustration, pain, and exhaustion. That is where God lives, and He is as glorified and powerful in the ditch in Afghanistan as He is in the greatest chapel."

WHAT ABOUT YOU?
To make all this happen, we need to lock arms with partners who share the mission to reach military service members and their families for Jesus Christ. There is a huge need for ministry partners this year. • Encourage, heal, and strengthen marriages of military couples
• Provide meals for fellowship nights for young military personnel as their "home away from home"
