Let’s plant churches till the ends of the earth

Trenčín is the eighth biggest town in Slovakia.  Its history dates back to the Roman period but  the first settlement of people came few hundred years b. c. In the 11th century they build up a castle on the hill in the middle of the town and it was a inportant Medieval Trade Center. There's lots to be said about the history, but we care about the future so let's talk about it  now, shall we?

We believe that the bible is teaching us that planting churches is one of the best ways how God kingdom will spread in the world. It’s not like people don’t know about God and there is zero churches but we would like to go there to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ. So why Trenčín? 

In September 2025, we moved to Trenčín to join a small group of believers who were already trying to meet regularly on Sundays. We came here to plant a church together—so that it wouldn't just be a few people meeting once in a while, but a church with a vision to plant another church. You might ask yourself: another church? Yes! Our desire is to plant "pregnant" churches that want to plant even more churches. The next town we would like to reach is Prievidza, but that story we will unfold in the future.

We believe the main reason CRU has been so successful in ministry is that every staff person has a Mission Team—faithful people like you directly involved in the work. We call these friends our “Ministry Partners.” Each Ministry Partner is involved in two ways: through prayer and financial support. Prayer works through the updates I send quarterly, sharing brief reports of what’s happening in the ministry along with 3 or 4 timely prayer requests. This way, you can see the vital prayer priorities, how the Lord is answering, and how your investment is yielding fruit in changed lives. To sustain this work full-time, we build a team of dedicated partners who stand with us both spiritually and financially.
