Let’s plant churches till the ends of the earth
Trenčín is the eighth biggest town in Slovakia. Its history dates back to the Roman period but the first settlement of people came few hundred years b. c. In the 11th century they build up a castle on the hill in the middle of the town and it was a inportant Medieval Trade Center. There's lots to be said about the history, but we care about the future so let's talk about it now, shall we?
We believe that the bible is teaching us that planting churches is one of the best ways how God kingdom will spread in the world. It’s not like people don’t know about God and there is zero churches but we would like to go there to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ. So why Trenčín?
There is a small group of believers who are already in Trenčín. Before we will go there hopefully in September 2025 we are building relationships with these believers. They try to meet regularly on Sunday where we go and help to preach the gospel. So it seems like long distance relationship. Therefore, we would like to go there and plant a church together so that it will not be only a small group of people who meet once in a while, but that it would be a church with a vision to plant another church. Maybe you’re asking yourself another church?Yes, our desire is to plant already pregnant churches who would want to plant another church. Town that we would like to reach next is called Prievidza. But that story we will hopefully unfold in the future.

We believe the main reason CRU has been so successful in ministry is that every staff person has a Mission Team. A faithful people like you directly involved in work. We call these friends our “Ministry Partners.” Each Ministry Partner is involved in two ways: through prayers and financially. The way the prayer part works is through the prayer letters I send to you every month. It is a brief report of what’s been happening in the ministry. With these letters we include 3 or 4 current prayer requests. This way you can see what the prayer needs are, how the Lord has been answering your prayers and how your investments are reaping results in the form of changed lives. Currently, staff members like me, in Slovakia need $2,300/month for a single person. This amount covers my salary, all taxes and insurances (required by government) and ministry expenses. God has already provided more than half of my needs through partners from Slovakia and USA. Currently I still need to raise $850/month or one time gift of $4,500.
