As the only full time woman staff at Western Michigan University, I am trusting the Lord to provide faithful, available, and teachable women who want to grow in their faith and learn how to become a life-long laborer. My hope and vision is that those women then would disciple and mentor other like-minded women. From that, spiritual multiplication would take place (2 Timothy 2:2) and all 63 women involved in Cru would be poured into and be sharing their faith with others. 

Then, that would lead to giving the opportunity to the 12,000 women at Western Michigan University to hear the Gospel and have a chance to respond to Jesus. I am also passionate about the different ethnic cultures that are represented at WMU (about 30%). I’m trusting the Lord will use the heart that He’s given me for the nations, my experience of being adopted in the majority culture, and also living overseas for a year in Eastern Europe serving with Cru will allow me to become a bridge to different cultures and inviting them in to be grafted into the family of God, no matter what past, background, culture, or ethnicity they come from.
