MY STORY
THE CALL TO FULL-TIME MINISTRY
Jesus placed it on my heart to pursue His plan for the world after spending 4 years involved with Cru at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. It wasn't long before I fell in love with the ministry of Cru and learned so much more about what it meant to have an eternal perspective. One of the most strategic ways to reach the world for Christ is through college students. For myself, I couldn't think of a better way to invest my time into the lives of others, especially younger women, than through college ministry. After graduating, I interned with Cru for a year at IUP.
MY PLACEMENT
THE TIDEWATER METRO TEAM
During the summer of 2015, I officially joined staff with Cru for the long haul and was placed on the Tidewater Metro Team in Virginia. This area has a scope of 100,000+ students and is one of the most diverse and heavily populated areas in Virginia. We have a vision to see everyone know someone who truly follows Jesus. Since its beginning, our movement has grown to have ministries on 6 campuses across the area and over 250 students involved. We have also sent students on mission all over the world including countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia. We want Cru to be a place where the gospel captures hearts, transforms lives, and launches men & women into a lifelong adventure with Christ.

HOW THE LORD HAS GROWN MY PASSION
Over the last 7+ years of on-campus ministry, mainly to women through discipleship and Bible studies, the Lord has grown a passion in me for Biblical literacy. I've seen that illiteracy is a huge problem amongst Christians today, and even more specifically among Gen Z, as Barna reports that they are the first post-Christian generation in our country. I want to see women know their Bibles, know what they believe and why, and have a strong theology. I believe that God calls every one of us to be theologians. Unfortunately, a lot of what is given to women in Christian circles is very watered-down and feelings-based. I want to make it my aim to teach the women I invest in to love their Bibles and read them rightly, knowing that it is not a book about them but about God, and that having a right theology of who He is affects everything about our lives.

As a Cru staff, I invite others to partner with me to reach people for Christ. Cru has no central funds for paying salaries and ministry expenses. Like many other mission organizations, Cru depends on the consistent financial support of concerned individuals and churches to fund the ministry. I must find a team of partners who will give $100 monthly or some other amount to support my ministry.
*An ongoing, monthly gift is always preferred since it's more sustainable.
One-time gifts are still accepted and appreciated, but are depleted more quickly.
