We are part of a team that is pioneering a ministry called The Every Initiative to reach the millions of refugees that have fled to Europe because of various crises. Through one of the largest mass migrations in history, God is providing a new open door for us to fulfill the Great Commission. The unreached people of the world are coming to a place of incredible spiritual poverty where they can openly hear the Gospel. Beginning in Sweden, our hope is to reach both refugees and university students with the Gospel, alongside the local church. 

  1. University students are often developing their worldviews and are easily mobilized towards humanitarian causes; thus, the strategy is to not only reach them with the Gospel but also involve them in meeting the needs of refugees. 
  2. Refugees, though generally coming from highly unreached parts of the world, have been surprisingly responsive to the Gospel. The hope is that as university students aid refugees, the witness of refugees for the Gospel will draw these university students to Christ and revitalize local churches.
  3. These two facets of the strategy cannot be sustained long-term without the involvement of local churches – to partner with Cru in refugee outreach, fueling the involvement of nationals and providing fellowship for both refugees and university students.

It is our great joy to lead the local team in Gothenburg, Sweden, and give strategic direction to The Every Initiative strategy as a whole in both Gothenburg and Örebro, Sweden.
