My wife Zina and I are serving long term in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where we are trusting God to move in students' hearts, bringing them into relationship with Himself, and building a body of believers who will encourage one another and grow in their faith together. Our goal is to see a community of people reading the Bible together in each of the 212 municipalities of Slovenia. This would mean that there would be a group within a 15 minute drive of anyone in the country. In this way every person in Slovenia will know someone who truly follows Jesus!

I (Jay) am from the US, and while at university became involved with Cru, and saw God not only deepen and strengthen my own faith, but saw how He could use me to reach others for Him too. Zina is from Moldova, and came to faith through Cru at her university, which changed her life so much that when she graduated she wanted to see that transformation in others. We are also joyfully raising two children, Ari and Milo.
