Current Needs: We are preparing for the birth of our second child! From previous health complications post-birth when we had Samuel, we are desiring to financially prepare for postpartum care costs and expenses for both Julie and the newborn coming in 2026. We are asking for $15,000 for our end of year 2025 ask. You would prayerfully consider giving towards our current needs?

Hello! We are Jon and Julie Csaplar. We have been involved with Cru as student leaders, interns or part-time since 2010, and now are full time staff starting in 2017. Jon serves as a Technical Director with FamilyLife's Special Events Team and Julie serves on the Marketing and Mobilization team focusing on Recruitment.

God has led Jon off the Campus Conference Production Team to join FamilyLife's Special Events Team. This new team is in charge of organizing the live events equipment, giving direction to the needs of the Weekend to Remember production needs, as well as hosting the Special Events that FamilyLife has. At the intersection of a faith-based marriage conference and romantic retreat from everyday life, Weekend to Remember helps couples do just that — choose oneness. Whether you’re sending up an SOS for marital rescue or looking to foster an already flourishing connection, Weekend to Remember is your best next step toward being, and staying, one. Because of the Csaplar's firstborn child born in May 2023, Jon is excited that this role will allow him to not travel as frequently and still be able to use his specific giftings for direct missions work.

Julie is on the Mobilization team as the Opportunities Coordinator covering a wide range of responsibilities from connecting students to mission trip and internship opportunities and answering their questions about what it is like to be on staff. We help students get connected into God's mission and challenge them to be a part of it. While people are coming here from all over the world, we believe God is making digital and in-person connections for believers to send disciples of Jesus into the rest of the world. We believe as we faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, students' lives will be transformed and the light of Jesus will be proclaimed to all people groups.
