My wife (Erin) and I (Thomas) have been serving on staff with Cru since 2014 and 2016. We got married in April 2022 and have been called to serve with Cru in Queens, NYC. Our heart is to bring every student an opportunity to respond to the gospel, help disciple young men and women, and send them into the world to do the same!

Why Queens?

 Known as "The World's Borough", Queens is the most diverse zip code in the country. Students we interact with are from all over the world, yet they have made Queens their home. This gives us a very unique opportunity to have a broad reach of the gospel and, at the same time, plant very deep roots. 

Broad Scope. Because the world is here, in any given day we can talk to students from multiple countries. If we can see someone trust Jesus, get built up and trained in the faith, they can then share with and impact their extended families across the world. 

Deep Roots. Though many of the students who we interact with have roots all over the world, they live and, more often than not, likely will stay in New York City. This mean if we can disciple students to follow Jesus and love their neighbor, over time we can truly make a lasting impact in one of the most influential cities in the world.
