After coming to the University of Texas to play soccer in 2011, Brooke began wondering why she felt so empty.  She was the high school Gatorade player of the year, starting as a freshmen in college, liked by her teammates, and doing what she always dreamed of. But she still felt empty.  One day a teammate began to explain to her that it is only through a relationship with Christ that we can truly be satisfied and fulfilled. The next 3 years transformed her life as she grew in her knowledge and understanding of Christ and how He fits into all areas of her life.

Today, DJ and Brooke have the privilege of overseeing and leading the Austin Metro  Athletes in Action team serving the University of Texas, various professional athletes and Olympic national team athletes.  "We love the opportunity to meet with college athletes during such a strategic and formative time in their lives.  Often times the decisions they make during these four years will shape the rest of their lives.  What an honor to point them to Christ, build them in their knowledge and understanding of him and send them out to share the greatest message of hope ever told.  Our heart is that everyone would know someone that truly follows Christ. We cannot do what the Lord has called us to without a team of partners like you! Thank you so much for not only your investment in our ministry, but even more importantly for making an eternal difference in the lives of college and professional athletes.  We are truly grateful!
