Damon and Emily met in 2016 while serving with Cru in East Asia. We joined staff in 2017 and returned to East Asia after getting married. The Lord used COVID to reroute us to Boone, NC in 2020. We have served in ministry at Appalachian State University since then! We have two daughters, Ruthie (2) and Hannah (4 months).

We absolutely love working alongside college students as they grow in their faith! We do this through Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, and weekly meetings. We are also passionate about taking the message of the Gospel to students on campus who do not know Christ which we do through engaging in evangelism on campus and different outreach events. We have seen the Lord work in mighty ways over the past few years! Students are searching for something that satisfies their deep longings, and we know that the only answer is found in Jesus Christ! 

We long to see Him transform the lives and hearts of college students and equip them to follow Jesus for a lifetime. We would love to partner with you in reaching students at Appalachian State with the glorious hope of Jesus Christ!
