In 2005 at Thanksgiving, I was given Cru’s Box of Love from a long-time church partner of Cru.  My family needed that food, and I was so grateful for that kindness.  I gave my heart to the Lord that year and decided right then that I wanted to do God’s work and help others like me.

I’ve been volunteering with Cru Inner City since 2009 and joined the full-time staff in September 2016.  I work alongside some amazing leaders as they present the love of Christ to the poor.  I get to witness firsthand the same love that was given to me during my time of need.  

My wonderful wife, Martha, supports me in all that I do with Cru. Together we raised a blended family of six children and five grandchildren.  We love the Lord and are grateful for the vision God has placed in our hearts.
