My name is Igor Juicov. I was born in an ordinary family of workers. My parents did not believe in God because we lived in the Soviet Communist space, where faith, in the Lord, was forbidden, and suspended, the churches were destroyed, or closed. When I was 10 my parents divorced. I moved with my mother and at 11 years old I, for the first time in my life, heard about God in an orthodox church. After high-school I decided to go to college to continue my studies. In the dormitory where I lived I met a strange guy. Every Wednesday-evening he would leave the dormitory to go somewhere. I asked him where he was going and he invited me to come with him. We got to a meeting for young people, organized by the mission ” Cru ”-Campus Сrusade for Сhrist, and soon I was approached by a missionary. His name was Andrian. In a while he invited me to a Christian conference where the teacher was speaking a lot about Jesus Christ, and how anyone who believes in Him can receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Then I asked Jesus to come into my life as Lord and Savior and left everything behind. God totally changed my life and mentality, using me in various places of ministry. One evening, while discussing and praying with Andrian, I realized I wanted to commit my life to serving in God’s field. But I very much wanted to do it not alone. So I decided to start praying for a family. God blessed me and sent Eugenia on my way. She loved God and truly wanted to follow Him. Eugenia believed in Jesus when she was 13 in a summer camp. After a year, she had the opportunity to participate in a theological course, which motivated her to serve the Lord. She made a covenant with God, committing her life to service to Him. With such a motivation, it was a new start in her life. She became chief student in her class, then she was appointed chief leader for her dormitory, considerably influencing her colleagues for Christ. That year she launched a Bible study group for girls. Gradually, both of us got involved in various youth ministries, mission projects and home church. God connected our lives together, blessed us and we got married. We have been a family for more than 13 years. The Lord has blessed us with four wonderful sons: David (12), Christian (6), Aaron (3½), and Luca (2).In 2016 we were welcomed onto staff with Cru-Moldova. Today we serve in the Global Church Movements (GCM) department, seeking to remain faithful to the calling God has placed on our lives. It is both a joy and a privilege to serve with Cru Moldova, where we have the opportunity to take part in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you for helping us reach Moldova for Christ! We glad to serve God together.
