     Hello! My name is Emily Card and I have been involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, in some form, for the past 9 years. I got heavily involved with Bridges International (the international arm of Cru) my Sophomore year of college. I was a student leader with Bridges for my last three years of college and then a volunteer for one year after I graduated. One year after I graduated, I decided to intern with Bridges at the University of Tennessee. During the course of my time with Bridges, I felt God gradually burdening my heart for Japan in particular. I met many Japanese friends during my university and intern years. Three years ago, I interned with Cru in Tokyo, Japan and it was one of the hardest, most incredible years of my entire life. I saw God working in the hearts of SO many Japanese students, and He worked massively in my heart as well. As I began seeking clarity for what God had next for me, He made it abundantly clear that He wants me to stay in Japan, at least for now. I came back to Japan in November of 2020 to start my time of being an international staff with Cru. I will be here for at least 3-5 years. I absolutely LOVE talking about Japan and my time there.
