Alyssa was greatly impacted as a student in Cru at Texas A&M where she first learned how to share her faith and developed a passion for all people to know Christ.  Michael's journey with Cru began before he was born when his parents joined Cru Staff at Texas A&M and moved to Bratislava, Slovakia. When Michael moved to the states for school, it wasn't long before he recognized his heart for Slovaks to know Jesus personally and to go themselves to the nations.

We graduated from Texas A&M University in May, 2015 and married a month later on June 20th. We served on staff at Grace Bible Church in College Station for two years in the college ministry as well as pioneered the video production department, "Stories of Grace".  During this time we also participated in a missionary training program before leading a two-year STINT (Short-term international) with Cru in Slovakia. 

From 2017-2019 we helped to re-launch the college and high school ministries in Bratislava, the capital and largest city in Slovakia. Additionally, Michael served as the Director of SpeakOut, our evangelistic summer English camp for students.

After joining full-time staff with Cru in 2020, we returned to Slovakia and have been focused on language and culture learning. We are primarily invested in young adults and students with the long-term desire to help plant new churches. In 2021, Michael completed his MA in Cross Cultural Ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.

We thoroughly enjoy developing ministry partners that will financially or prayerfully invest in our ministry. We truly believe that God is doing something special in students in Slovakia right now, and thanks to your partnership, we get to be invested in it fully! You are an answer to many prayers. Thank you for choosing to walk alongside us in this journey to love God and love people.

We are passionate to work within the post-Christian culture with the longing to see revival in Europe. Jesus loves them with the radical love of the father to his prodigal son. We desire and pray that they would know this deep love he has for them, decide to surrender their lives to the way of Jesus, and be mobilized to farthest ends of the earth!
