I will be participating in a four-week mission trip designed for missionary kids in South Africa. We will be going to Port Shepstone in the region of KwaZulu Natal. We will partner with Norwegian Settler's Church and work with their ongoing ministries around the community. This means doing outreaches in local high schools, going into surrounding townships for house visits and working alongside South African youth groups connected to the church. You can pray that our team will be able to reach across these cultural boundaries and share God's love in unique ways!

In terms of preparation, we will be trained in how to share the gospel, communicate our personal testimonies, and other relevant ministry skills which we will use throughout the summer. We will also be discipled by our leadership team through small groups and individual meetings as we process the unique challenges of being an MK and other spiritual issues like living out our faith at home.
