Hi Friends,

My name is Lauren Ayala, and I had the privilege of spending two years working for Cru as an international intern in Puerto Rico from August 2017- August 2019.

During my two years in Puerto Rico, I was able to grow so much as a person, in my relationship with the Lord, and was able to be a part of some of the ways God was working in the hearts of the students there. One of the fun and unique ways I was able to grow and learn during my time in Puerto Rico, was about my cultural identity and how that affected or tied into living out my faith. As a Mexican, Puerto Rican, American being in Puerto Rico for the first time, I had the opportunity to connect with other Puerto Rican/ Latin American students in a way I hadn't experienced much during my time in College in Northern California.

During my time in Cru both in college and as an intern I have had the privilege of sharing about the significance of a personal relationship with Jesus with many students through outreaches on campus, personal conversations through evangelism, and have been able to invest in students lives. I have had the opportunity to see and be a part of building students up in their faith through things such Bible studies, large group meetings, and individual or group discipleship/mentorship. I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing students passionate about sharing Jesus with their peers be sent out through conferences, mission trips, and in serving with their church or in Cru.

I loved serving in Puerto Rico, but am very excited about the new opportunity to serve and work in South Florida (Miami-Dade county, Broward County, & Palm Beach County) and get to see and be apart of how God is moving in the hearts of college students there. I am excited to join the South Florida team and getting the opportunity to reach students there and am especially excited by the large Latin American and Caribbean population present in South Florida and the opportunity I'll have to continue to connect with and invest in that community, but now in a different context by being in the Continental U. S. rather than Puerto Rico.

South Florida has 1/2 million students and faculty on over 75 campuses and my team hopes to find key students and faculty who want to trust God to launch movements on ALL 75 of those campuses! We do this by finding students  and faculty passionate about sharing Jesus with their peers, then coaching and resourcing them as they take steps of faith to be able to prayerfully launch and have sustainable movements on their campuses. I am so excited to join my team in sharing the Gospel in South Florida, BUT I can not do it on my own! I am searching for a team of people who are excited and encouraged by the ways God is moving in South Florida and  want to partner with me financially, prayerfully, or both. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me at a monthly amount of $100, $200, $300, or an amount that is significant for you?

I see this is a partnership between you and I.

My commitment to you:

I will send you a monthly newsletter to keep you informed on how God is moving, vow to be financially faithful with the funds raised. I will also introduce you to some of the students I connect with, and will check in throughout the year for ways that I could be praying for you.

Your commitment to me:

By partnering with me financially, prayerfully, or both you are able to partake in the Great Commission alongside me.

I am super grateful for you, Thank you for considering partnering with me!
