Before graduating from my university, I had spent my last semester interning in Washington D.C. I was so sure that upon graduating, I would secure a job working in Washington D.C. in a government agency or for a member of congress, however, as I surrendered my will to the Lord’s throughout the semester, God began to place in my heart the desire to serve Him in ministry and reach the lost, especially to reach lost college students. One day, I attended an event for my supervisor where I met a couple who was eager to share their wealth of knowledge concerning their successful careers. Towards the end of the conversation, the gentleman encouraged me to let my passion drive me forward in my future career. His advice stayed with me and as a began to reflect on it more and seek God, I knew what my passion was…. Jesus and sharing Him with people, especially college students.
