Before beginning college, I didn't know what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus or how to live on mission. I was a Christian who didn't know how to live out my faith. God blessed me with women in my life who encouraged me to get involved with Cru and it was through those women and communities that God began changing my life. I am so thankful for the ways God worked during those years and I am forever changed because of those women.
During those years, God began changing my heart to believe that full-time ministry was something I was meant to do. "It just makes sense," is what I told my college discipler. That conviction has not changed even years later, and I am honored to be a part of building the kingdom for Christ.
There are thousands of college students who are just like freshman me who God deeply loves and with whom He longs to have an intimate relationship. Many are lost, searching for hope and fulfillment in places that were never created to fully satisfy them. There is a great need for the Gospel to go forth on college campuses to bring light, hope, and joy.
I am serving on Cru staff in the Cincinnati Metro Area where there are for 50,000 college and university students. It is a joy and a privilege to share the Gospel with these students, build them in their faith, and equip them to live life on mission wherever they are.
As I am going forth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, will you partner with me to see lives transformed?
