I've been married to Christina for 13 years, and our first daughter, Amara will turn 10 years old in November. Johanna, our second baby girl, turned 6 in March. Our family lives in Mayfield, KY. Nate serves as a missionary to see the good news of Jesus planted among those who are far from Jesus and without hope. Christina is currently a stay-at-home mom, loving our girls and works alongside Nate in this ministry. She is also an amazing birth doula and photographer!
Take a moment and picture this: transformative, multiplying churches in every segment of the region that communicate and demonstrate the good news of Jesus to every person, so that every man, woman and child has repeated opportunities to know and experience the love of Jesus. As we labor toward such a vision, we focus on three audiences: 1) connecting those far from God to Jesus, 2) helping every follower of Jesus normalize sharing the gospel and making disciples, and 3) partnering with pastors, missional leaders and church-planters to increase capacity and confidence to multiply faith communities. We have one overall metric - multiplying faith communities and churches. We desire to help develop leaders from the harvest, to take the church into the frontiers of the harvest.
Our vision is to see a new generation of multiplying Jesus followers and micro-churches in every network of relationships for the purpose of gospel saturation in western KY and beyond. We want to plant the gospel in our community and among our neighbors, resulting in a network of multiplying missional communities that make Jesus known in word and deed. Our simple prayer is to listen to Jesus, do what he says, and equip others to do the same. Our prayer is that Acts 6:7 would become a reality in our region: “The word of God spread and the number of disciples increased rapidly.” If that were to take place, western Kentucky would experience the kingdom of God coming on earth as it is in heaven.
