Note - due to circumstances Shea will be going in 2020. 

I’m excited to share that during my off season I’ll be traveling with Athletes in Action Pro Soccer on a sports mission trip to Africa for the 3rd year. I will get to combine my talents and passion for soccer with my Christian faith and my desire to see others come to know the life-saving message of Jesus.

Because of the schedule we keep as athletes, we don’t have many opportunities to go on mission trips. But AIA has created this trip just for us!

I will be joining other players from various pro soccer leagues to travel to Africa where we will be able to use soccer as a platform to share our faith. I’m excited to see how God uses my experiences through soccer to connect with other athletes and coaches around the world, so they might come to know Him better. 

Please consider joining my team to pray for me and our mission as we open doors within soccer federations and clubs for potential ministry. Also, please prayerfully consider joining us to help cover the costs for travel, lodging and ministry materials. I’m looking to raise about $3,000 for my part of the trip.
