CruWC Puerto Rico Relief

#0964785

Cru Winter Conference is an annual, four-day gathering of college students in nine cities with one movement. At Cru WC, students experience the power of worship, the warmth of community, the vitality of God's Word, and the joy of relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

On September 20th, Hurricane Maria made landfall on Puerto Rico, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. As of three months later, over 40% of the island still has no power, access to clean water, or the ability to rebuild from the wreckage.  Through it all, God has been acting and calls us to enter into what He is doing.

This year, we are partnering with GAiN and local Cru staff in Puerto Rico to join in their continued efforts of extending a physical arm of compassion. We are asking students to give towards this effort. Through GAiN, we will supply humanitarian aid to  meet the physical needs of over 1 million people still on the island, living in these conditions.  We  will also use a portion of the gifts to help send students affected by the hurricane to their yearly conference in Brazil as well relief services deemed appropriate.

Thank you for considering giving to these relief efforts, and taking part in what God is doing and will do in Puerto Rico through these gifts.
