A little bit about me:
I grew up in Christian home in small town Minnesota, always believing in God but not fully understanding the Gospel.
I went to the University of Wisconsin - Stout where I found Cru and experienced tremendous spiritual growth. I finally fully understood that you can have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus! While there I studied Interior Design with two minors: Spanish and Sustainability.
After my second year, I went to Australia with Cru on a one month summer mission and had a major focus of campus evangelism daily! It was there that the Lord completely opened my eyes to the diversity of His creation -it seemed every day we talked to a person from a different country.
Returning to school was quite a challenge for me, as I wrestled with studying vs. the urgency to be sharing the Gospel all day long! However, the Lord showed me how to intentionally share with those around me. I continued my involvement in the ministry and also got involved in another ministry of Cru at my university (called Bridges) that focused on reaching International students with the Gospel. This was AMAZING and God continued to grow my heart more and more to reach other cultures for the Kingdom! I was able to have so many wonderful spiritual conversations with students of other religions; listening to them as well as sharing with them about what it looks like to have a relationship with Jesus!
After graduation in December 2017, I went overseas to Perú to intern with Cru doing campus ministry for 2 years. This was such a privilege to be able to work alongside the Lord and see students enter into a relationship with Him! I was able to witness the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives- bringing life changing transformation as they became multiplying disciples themselves and find their own way to be a part of the Great Commission - all for glory of God!
I returned to the US from my second year in Perú August 2020 and the Lord called me to continue in campus ministry as full time staff with Cru. I spent a season in the US participating in trainings, theological classes, and raising support before I reported to my new ministry location in México. I served in Puebla, México for about 8 months- serving students as well as ministering to women/girls in a recovery home from drug and alcohol abuse. The Lord really grew me in that season and helped me be a light to women who had no hope. It was a beautiful blessing for me to be able to step into their lives and share the promises and love of Jesus with them.
I recently got married to my now husband, Geofrey (from Perú) and we are now serving the Lord full time in Perú. We are striving to walk in step with the Spirit to win souls for Christ, to build them up in their faith, and to send them out into the world to share the Good News wherever He may lead them!
As a sister in Christ, I'd appreciate if you would please prayerfully consider joining the mission that God has called me to. As He invites us to be a part of the work He is doing to bring lost souls to Himself, I would love to invite you to be a part of His mission in Perú!
