Gutierrez, Adriana

In 2013, as a student, I heard about Cru for the first time and became involved as a volunteer. In 2018, after graduating and working in my profession -International Relations- I was challenged to work in the ministry full-time. Since then, God has allowed me to place my knowledge, gifts, and passions at the service of Him and others in the same place.

I understand that the gospel must be proclamation and demonstration. For this reason, it is not enough to preach the good news, but also to help social and cultural transformation. And I am convinced that the Lord has called me to do that in Colombia.

He has placed a burden on me for social justice. For this reason, I have directed social projects with vulnerable communities in different parts of the country (Bogotá, Chocó, Atlántico, and La Guajira); mobilizing university students and professionals to show the love of Jesus through service, while being and making disciples.

Currently, like a new family, JuanDi (my husband) and I work together in Cru using our gifts and talents at the service of God, so that many know Jesus and there is social and spiritual transformation in Colombia.

"Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows."

Isaiah 1:17
