About Sam

Sam Davis is a missionary who has a heart for reaching international students with the Good News of Jesus Christ so they might proclaim Jesus' name all over the world.

Normal, Illinois

After graduating with a degree in Missions from Lincoln Christian University, Sam completed a 6 month internship with International Students, Inc. (ISI) in Normal, Illinois where the team met and discipled students from Illinois State University.  This was Sam's first role in International Student Ministry (ISM).  

Melbourne, Australia

Sam then spent 2 years in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia working with The Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) and their ISM called "Cross Cultures." Sam used this time to grow in ministry and in closer relation and reliance on God. For Sam, it was very important to be able to be an international person reaching out to international students, especially knowing that this will strengthen his future ministry, even after he moves back to the USA.

This was a very special time in Sam's life, especially because this is where he met his wife, Gloria, a native of San Diego, CA who was studying and working in Melbourne.

San Diego, California

Sam and Gloria (some call them GLAM) now live in San Diego, CA where Sam has been commissioned to full-time campus ministry with Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ) to work with international students as a Bridges International Ambassador. Sam and Gloria are excited about this new chapter in their lives and are praying for faith in God to guide their steps.
