Colorado Springs is an incredibly strategic location for Cru Military.  More than 45,000 service members and 80,000 veterans live in the Pikes Peak region, which is home to five military bases including the United States Air Force Academy, Peterson Space Force Base,  Schriever Space Force Base, Fort Carson, and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station.

In addition to ongoing deployments and physical combat on the battlefield, there are unique challenges that military members and their families face.  These challenges can result in marital struggles, isolation, addictions, discontent, and strained parent-child relationships. Cru Military believes that each man or woman in uniform, bearing arms and subject to enemy action, deserves first priority in hearing the Gospel of Jesus.  We want to help military members and their families have a personal relationship with Jesus and mature as Christians, so they can serve Christ and share the Gospel with the global military community as they are sent around the world through their military service.

We work at the approval of local chaplains and with local churches, and we are engaged in reaching the military with the message of the Gospel using the following types of Christ-centered ministries:

• ​Introducing military members and their families to the person of Jesus Christ
• Discipling our service men and women (one-on-one and in small groups) to promote growth into mature Christ followers
  
• Strengthening the military family by helping couples establish Jesus Christ as the center of their home and marriage through marriage small groups and weekend events as well as gospel-centered pre-marital courses
  
• Leading individuals and families into Christ-centered healing and restoration when life goes wrong using Combat Trauma Healing courses
  
• Serving and supporting Chaplains and Commanders in promoting mission readiness through family readiness by hosting parenting small groups and weekend events
  
• Training and equipping local churches on how to minister to the military in their midst through Bible studies designed for military members and/or their spouses
