The mission of the United States Naval Academy is to develop Midshipmen morally, mentally, and physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of duty, honor, and loyalty in order to graduate leaders who are dedicated to a career of Naval service and have potential for future development in mind and character to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship, and government.


Our world is a complex place filled with many competing views and ideologies. Often the University is the mixing bowl for those ideologies. It may seem that military academies are an exception to this, yet they are not. From the first day Midshipmen arrive they are assaulted with competing ethical, moral and spiritual options. The gospel needs a place in that discussion. We desire to offer a  compassionate, compelling and thoughtful community that will allow Midshipmen to explore the claims of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that many will choose to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior, grow in their faith and be sent to the Navy and Marines as ambassadors for Christ.
