God has called me to work for Him full time!

Hi! My name is Nohadra, I'm 29 years old and I live in Sweden, i'm born and raised in Sweden. I also have Assyrian roots (from the Middle East). My parents moved to Sweden 40 years ago from Syria. I have always had a faith in God - but I got saved and began to have a personal relationship with the Lord when I was 22 years old, in 2014. Jesus revealed himself to me through the holy Scripture and sent many people who testified about Him during the same year. In 2018, I received a word from the Lord through Isaiah 54, that I will become a spiritual mother for many children, shortly after I had received that word, God confirmed it by a prophetic word which I received during a prayer meeting in the church through my pastor who didn’t know anything about what I already experienced God saying to me. Since then, God has in various ways confirmed to me personally that it is He who calls me to serve the Kingdom of God as the national leader in Sweden in the movement SHINE - Agape Europe’s youth ministry.

SWEDEN - THE WORLD’S MOST SECULAR COUNTRY

Did you know that Sweden is one of the most secular and atheist countries in the world? Unfortunately it is true. Sweden as a country may be a wealthy and peaceful country without any poverty or wars, but there is a spiritual poverty. Even though Sweden is a secular country - there are many who are seeking something more, there are a lot of people in Sweden who are open to the spiritual world. They seek inner peace and purpose through other religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, New Age etc. But we know that there is no one else who can satisfy that thirst or hunger except Jesus Christ, He who is the way, the truth and the life! Most of the youths in Sweden have never heard the true Gospel - never met someone who is actually walking with Jesus! Many schools are using yoga and meditation in Sweden and teaching the students about evolution as a truth, their spiritual eyes are blinded and they are deceived already in a young age. But there is hope! Youths are very open for the spiritual world. That’s why it is so important for youths to hear about Jesus at a young age! Teenagers in Sweden deserve and are ready to hear the truth and meet the truth - Jesus Christ! 

SHINE - WE GLOW IN THE DARK 

In Sweden, there are about 780,000 youths in the age of between 13 and 19 and only 30,000 of them are members of a church. Many young people in Sweden today live with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks and with the question of whether there is any meaning of life. SHINE mission is to meet these young people in their everyday lives and build relationships through various activities; school groups, youth camps, sports, music, festivals and social media. We will simply meet and capture as many youth as possible and share the gospel, guide them to Jesus, and to a local church. We want to disciple Christian youth, so that they can then be a light and spread Jesus' love to their peers.

SHINE is a lifestyle that every christian youth is called to live. We want to make it easy for young people to understand the christian lifestyle - and to adopt it and live it throughout their everyday life.
