God has been wooing my heart for many years! In college, I was involved with Cru, attending their weekly meetings, women's Bible studies, and attending their retreats and winter conference! God used Cru to grow me in my faith. It was through a Cru staff person that I first heard what the role of the Holy Spirit is in our walk with Jesus. That staff person was my sister, Sarah. 

I've been serving the Lord in the marketplace for many years but in 2019/2020 I got involved volunteering with Cru at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I had the privilege to speak at their Fall Retreat and mentor a young woman throughout the year. As I went to the Cru weekly meetings, something burdened my heart. I looked at the sea of students filling up the academic hall and had a great desire for each one to be shepherded, to point them to Jesus. I realized the truth that the harvest is great, but the laborers are few! 

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." -Matthew 9:36-38

God has lead me to answer that prayer and join staff with Cru! I am currently serving at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and surrounding colleges in the area such as Viterbo, Western Technical College, Winona State, and the Universtiy of Minnesota - Rochester.  I am introducing students to Jesus, discipling them,  and sending them out to be world changers for Jesus!
