I (Jeff) got involved in Cru my freshman year at UTSA in 2016, after coming to Christ 2 years prior, and the discipleship I received my first year in college spring-boarded me into a life of walking with Jesus and making him known. I was involved with Cru throughout the rest of my college experience, becoming a student leader and going on several mission trips. 

Emma grew up in church, and accepted Christ at a young age. She was attending UMHB in Belton, TX in 2018 when she was challenged to go to East Asia over the summer for 6 weeks to share the gospel with those who have no access to the gospel. We met on this mission trip and both began to share a calling for college ministry, and reach hard-to-reach places around the world with the gospel. 

We got married in 2020 and had plans to live in East Asia as missionaries with Cru, but the Lord rerouted us and we now serve with Cru at UT-San Antonio. Our calling is to make disciples in San Antonio who will be lifelong Christ-centered laborers and make Christ known around the world. Through evangelism and discipleship, we are seeing the Lord shape this next generation of college students into men and women passionate about making him known at work, in class, in their families, and around the globe.
