After being involved with Cru as a student at Western Michigan University, I decided that God was calling me to work with Cru. After graduating, I spent two years as an intern at WMU, reaching students there with the gospel. Now I am preparing to join full-time staff with the campus team at Michigan State University.

College is such an important time in the lives of young adults. For most students, college is a time of newfound freedom and opportunities. However, this newfound freedom can also lead to students walking away from their faith. In fact 7 out of 10 students who come to college with a faith background will end up walking away from their faith during their time in college.

For these reasons, I think college is a very important time to be impacting lives with the gospel. In my own experience, college is when I truly made my faith my own. I want to help other students have a similar experience in college, where, rather than walking away from their faith, they can grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.

At Michigan State University, I will be part of a staff team committed to reaching the campus with the good news of Jesus. I will be leading small group bible studies, discipling students, and sharing the gospel on MSU’s campus.

My hope is that I can be a small part in helping raise the next generation of Christian leaders. But I can’t do it without your support! Thank you for your prayers, and for considering giving a gift to my ministry!
