After serving with Cru Inner City for 2.5 years, I am happy to share that I transitioned to full-time ministry with Athletes in Action (AIA), a ministry of Cru! 

I am serving as an athletic trainer with AIA in Xenia, OH where athletes come from across the US and the world to train and compete! As an athletic trainer, I get to use the skills and experience that God has given me to bring Him glory. Through providing a physical need, I am trusting God to provide opportunities to share who He is with the athletes- and let me tell you, He is! It is my heart to care for the whole person (Total Athlete), physically, mentally, and spiritually, while helping the athletes to stay healthy and to compete at the max level. 

Throughout the year I work with various programs, but my main focus is with residential programs such as AIA's post-grad basketball team and summer baseball team. It is joy to interact with these athletes daily. Spending time with athletes in the athletic training room and meeting them in their vulnerable moments (especially due to injury) has been such a gift and has opened the door to many conversations. Praise God!
