Samuel and Lisa Lapp

Hello, we are Sam and Lisa Lapp. We are blessed with four wonderful children, Elijah, Lila, Zoe and Abigail. We have raised our children on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi as Sam worked in the construction industry for 16 years. In 2019 we sensed the Lords call to help build and encourage Godly marriages and homes. So we moved to Orlando, Florida and joined FamilyLife, a ministry established in 1976. FamilyLife provides biblical and practical help for the relationships that matter most, with a vision that every home would be a godly home. 


 Sam works as an Associate Planner with the Weekend to Remember marriage conferences, traveling to 6-8 conferences a year. At these 3 day marriage events couples are taught how to navigate marriage through a biblical and yet practical way as we live in a fallen world. Sam helps with the logistics and other behind the scenes responsibilities.

 Lisa’s main responsibilities, in this season of our lives, is in our home teaching and training our children in the ways that they should go as Proverbs 22 says. She also is very involved in the small school that our children attend. In addition to all that, she also helps some with local events at FamilyLife headquarters.

In all that we do we desire to honor the Lord, point others to Christ who don’t yet know His love and bring hope to those who are lost in hopelessness. Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”.

If your heart is stirred to partner with us you can do so in two ways. 
One, please cover us with your prayers. Ephesians 6:18 “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” We need your prayers so we may be effective ambassadors for the kingdom of heaven.
