Hey,
Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Samantha Nupson. I am originally from Cass Lake, MN and joined the mission field with Cru in April, 2022. I grew up in an Air Force family and loved every moment of it! Giving back to this community was my deepest desire for a long time, so when I was not able to enlist for medical reasons, I thought that I had lost my purpose. But God used this closed door to bring me back to Him over the following four years, growing my desire to love, know, and serve Him above all.
I followed His leading and graduated from Maranatha Baptist University in 2021 with a BA in Humanities, believing that I would pursue a career in museum work and specialize in military history. But God never forgot or withdrew the passion that He instilled in me to serve the military. A few months after graduation, I realized that I couldn't shut up about Jesus and might as well do something about it. I started looking into full-time ministry opportunities, and God led me to Cru where I currently serve as an intern missionary to the midshipmen attending the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. By God's grace, I get the joy of sharing the gospel with and discipling midshipmen as they train to become future commanders to servicemen and women across the globe. It is truly a privilege to walk with them and revel together in the love and Truth of Christ.
