I got involved with Cru during my freshman year of college and learned what it meant to pursue Jesus daily and cultivate my personal relationship with Him. I served in the Middle East for a year where I witnessed that sharing God is relational; not only in the Gospel story, but in our character, actions, and lifestyle. I was able to expound on my cross-cultural experiences this past year as I served in Cleveland. We are present in four universities, much of our work being with Cru and their partnered contextualized movements called Impact, Epic, and Design (working with Black, Asian/Asian-American, and South Asian students respectively.) In seeing each of these movements flourish, the Lord planted in me the desire to raise up another partnering organization called Destino, a ministry working with Hispanic students on campus. This upcoming year, I'm eager to continue nurturing vibrant Christ-centered communities across all our movements, with a specific focus on reaching Hispanic students.
