I have had a heart for Spanish-speaking nations since I was young, and in 2014 I heard God say, “Move to Spain,” which I had never considered before! I wanted to make sure it was God speaking, and as the years passed, the Lord confirmed this calling multiple times by speaking, “Go to Spain.” Each time I sought opportunities, but I had no connections or direction forward. 

Seven years after the initial call, I was talking with a church member who worked for Cru, and, knowing nothing of Cru's international scope at the time,  I ventured, “Does Cru work in Spain?” Soon he connected me with some of Cru’s missionaries in Spain. In summer 2022 as I visited some of their ministries, I quickly fell in love with the team at the National Office and the ministries that they supported. Through conversation with the operations director, I discovered my background in administration and design gave me skills that were needed on the operations team. 

With a rapidly-increasing number of Spaniards identifying as having "no religion," I am excited to partner with and empower a team of over 75 missionaries throughout twelve different ministries to make Christ known in this historically religious but spiritually lacking land. I am excited to use my time and talents both inside and outside of the office to further the kingdom of God in a post-Christian culture that so desperately needs the hope of the gospel!
