Outdoor Men's Ministry

Our Ministry Vision: Connecting men to Jesus through a love of the outdoors

How: God has created an opportunity to start an outdoor men’s ministry in East Tennessee. Through Neighbors, an audience  of Cru City, we will cultivate an environment to win men to Jesus, build them up through discipleship, and send them out to fulfill God's purpose for their lives.

The why:There are so many men across East Tennessee that have an aversion to church. This could be due to a bad experience, a false belief that they can do life on their own, or even a feeling that they don’t fit in at church. Men have the capacity to lead their families to Jesus like no other. There’s a statistic that notes that if the man of the household gives his life to Jesus, there is a 96% chance the rest of the family will follow. That is why we believe the enemy is trying so hard to keep men away from church. For a lot of men, the outdoors is a safe place to connect with others and find rest. Through this ministry, we’ll facilitate outdoor small groups that meet men where they are while sharing God’s truth with them. Once they’ve been connected to Jesus and built up through discipleship, our goal is to connect them to a local church where they can continue their discipleship journey and discover the purpose God has for them and their family.
