Hey friend! We’re the Filmores!

We’re Joshua and Erica—married 18 years, blessed with three adventurous kiddos (Emma Grace, Wyatt, and Addie Rose), and crazy about game nights, fishing poles, and good movies. 

God has put a fire in our hearts to serve marriages and families, so we’re joining FamilyLife, a ministry of Cru, as full-time local missionaries.

Why we’re stepping out in faith

Families shape neighborhoods, churches, and whole communities. When a husband and wife walk with Jesus, the ripple of grace reaches kids, neighbors, and even the next generation. 

We’ve seen how God uses our story—through highs, lows, and plenty of laughs—to remind couples that Christ can hold any home together. Now we want to give our best hours to that mission, not just our evenings and weekends.

What we’ll be doing

• Pursuing what matters most—Jesus at home. Over kitchen-table chats and coffee-shop meet-ups, we’ll share the gospel with couples and invite them to build their homes on Christ.
• Discipling families to disciple others. We’ll walk with parents and spouses, handing them simple studies, date-night ideas, and quick-hit videos they can use—and pass to friends.
• Sparking a local movement. By coaching everyday leaders, we’ll see backyards, parks, and neighborhood groups turn into hubs of hope until “Every Home is a Godly Home.”

Each step means another home gets to hear—and see—the love of Jesus. Every conversation, event, and video is another chance to see hearts healed and hope restored.
