Hi! My name is Emily and I'll be serving as a second-year intern at the University of Connecticut (UConn). I attended UConn for undergrad and was an active member of Cru for my entire college career. God used Cru to completely transform my walk with Him! 

During my first year of internship, it was a privilege to walk alongside students as the Lord made them passionate about sharing their faith. Praise the Lord, we saw more students than ever indicate a decision to start a relationship with Christ! I’m excited to see how God continues to change lives at UConn this year!

The verse above truly does exemplify the spiritual climate at UConn. During my time at UConn, I've seen that many students are very interested in talking about spiritual topics and are willing to invest time to find spiritual truth. In this atmosphere, we seek to be a “movement of multiplying disciples.” This means two things. We encourage students to become true disciples of Jesus, having a personal relationship with Him that transforms their hearts and minds. We also encourage them to actively share their faith with friends, family, classmates, professors, and anyone else the Holy Spirit leads them to. We pray that this has a ripple effect, bringing many people to a genuine faith in Jesus Christ.
