What is the Christmas Box Project?
The Christmas Box Project is part of the Humanitarian Ministry of Ukraine for Christ (a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International). Each Christmas season, we provide food assistance and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with Ukrainians affected by the war.
Together with local churches, we prepare and deliver boxes filled with essential food items and a message of hope from the Christmas story.
Last year, we distributed 10,000 Christmas Boxes across Ukraine in partnership with churches and organizations.
What’s Inside
Each box contains a thoughtful mix of holiday treats and everyday essentials—such as cookies, nuts, coffee, macaroni, flour and sugar—along with a small Gospel bracelet and a personal letter that shares key message of Christmas.
It’s a simple yet meaningful way to meet both physical and spiritual needs, reminding each recipient that they are not forgotten.
How It Works
Local churches host Christmas gatherings for displaced and vulnerable Ukrainians, presenting the Gospel through “The Four Mysteries of Christmas.” Afterward, many participants continue their journey of faith through the Yellow Box Project, joining church-based groups for ongoing support and discipleship.
Our Goal for 2025
We plan to prepare and distribute 10,000 boxes, each costing $20 to fill, pack, and deliver.
Our goal is to raise $200,000.
Your gift—of any amount—will help provide food, comfort, and the message of hope in Christ to families still living amid war.
Together, we can share the light of Christmas across Ukraine.
