Estonia is one of the most atheistic countries in the world, with no major church influence. Less than 5% of the population has a personal relationship with Jesus, and most people don't know anyone in their community that is a born-again Christian. College students in Estonia wrestle with many of the same issues as American students, with high rates of depression, loneliness and isolation. This is compounded by the long, cold, dark winters of Northeastern Europe that last for much of the school year. Despite these struggles, God is doing a mighty work in Estonia, as he begins to raise up Christian college students to bring the message of the Gospel to their classmates and families.

I am so excited to move to Tartu, Estonia, and serve with Agape, the Cru student ministry there. Agape is building a tight-knit community of students who come together weekly for discussion groups, board game nights, outdoor activities, book clubs, and more. Both Christian and nonreligious students have found a home in Agape as they form deep, authentic relationships with each other. This community has also provided the opportunity for Estonian students to ask spiritual questions and learn more about what it means to know God personally; many students have come to know Jesus through their relationships and spiritual conversations with their Christian friends at Agape!

I praise God for this opportunity to share my Christ-rooted hope, joy, and peace with Estonian students, who likely have never heard the gospel before. Would you join me in partnering with God in the work He is doing in Estonia?
