God called me to Himself from a very unique place - Virtual Reality.
We have reached the point where the most immersive environments in VR can be an escape, not only in the same way that many of us escape on our phones, but to the extent where it is a substitute in many ways to real life. This has led hundreds of thousands of people to spend many hours every day in social VR platforms, like VRchat.
Since there is no moderation in VR, people are able to create environments and avatars that cater to the depths of their fleshly desires, and to go down into the depths of those dark desires, rooted in a heart cry of wanting to find hope and satisfaction.
I was one of these people.
I gave my life to Christ in VR and was discipled there as well. God called me to go back to my people in VR to tell them the answer to the hope and satisfaction that they so deeply desired.
While being on staff in the first Gospel preaching church, Cornerstone, that had been called into VR, the Lord used me to lead many people to Himself and to disciple them. It has been powerful to see the light of Christ change lives that were on the verge of taking their own life, and then seeing those same people go in to the places they use to try and find satisfaction in, gather people together, and bring them to hear of the One who changed their life, the One who is worthy of it all - Jesus.
God has called me to join Jesus Film as the first VR Missionary. To go in to the depths of the many communities in VR and to lead them to Christ, and to continue the revival that He has begun.
Jesus Film is working on a new animated story of Jesus that will be in Virtual Reality, where you are able to be inside of the movie itself, where you can walk around inside the movie as it is happening and be immersed in the Gospel of Luke.
Please pray for me as I am in a place where the enemy has a deep foothold and aggressively attacks how God is shifting that. Also, please pray and ask if God is calling you to give financially to support me being able to focus on what God has called me to. Thank you.
